Třístovkou na dlouhých cestách

McLaren právě představuje model GT, který navazuje na hyper-GT Speedtail. Tento vůz se stává konkurentem pro Bentley Continental či Aston Martin DB11. McLaren tak míří do zcela nových vod, kde klientela nehledá jen absurdní rychlost a zábavu za volantem, ale i pohodlí a klid na dlouhých cestách.

Základ tvoří karbonový monokok MonoCell II-T, který zajišťuje nadprůměrnou tuhost karoserie a velice nízkou hmotnost 1530 kilogramů. Na jeho zadní straně je uložený TwinTurbem přeplňovaný osmiválec o objemu čtyř litrů, který produkuje výkon 620 koní a točivý moment 630 Nm, avšak 95 % síly je dostupných v širokém spektru otáček od 3000 do 7250. 

Poháněna jsou zadní kola a dvouspojková převodovka má sedm rychlostních stupňů. Akcelerace z 0 na 100 km/h zabere pouhé 3,2 sekundy a maximální rychlost hrubě překračuje 300 km/h.

Podvozek se inspiroval tím z modelu 720S. Má systém Optimal Control Theory, jehož snímače čtou asfalt před autem a během dvou milisekund dokáží ideálně nastavit aktivní podvozek. Samovolně si lze volit z trojice jízdních režimů – Comfort, Sport a Track. 

Uvnitř se nacházejí pečlivě vyvíjená sedadla, která mají poskytovat absolutní pohodlí i na trasách dlouhých několik tisíc kilometrů. Samozřejmostí je přepychová výbava, do níž je zahrnuto audio Bowers & Wilkins s 12 reproduktory a vylepšený informační systém s velkým displejem.

A teď k jedné velké zajímavosti. McLaren GT má dva zavazadlové prostory, jeden nad motorem uprostřed a druhý pod kapotou vpředu. První má objem 420 litrů, druhý 150 litrů, takže celkově poskytují 570 litrů, což je v této kategorii něco nevídaného.

Cena odstartuje těsně pod hranicí 5 000 000 korun a dodávky prvních aut dorazí na konci tohoto roku.
