McLaren plánuje výrobu pouhých 106 kusů

McLaren Automotive informoval svých 106 zákazníků, kteří si v předstihu objednali automobil, nesoucí prozatím označení BP23, že jejich příští miláček má už oficiální jméno. Bude se nazývat McLaren Speedtail.

Jako vůbec první vůz kategorie hyper-GT na světě bude Speedtail zároveň nejrychlejším mclarenem v historii. Předstihne tak legendární supersport McLaren F1.

Zpráva následuje po oznámení šéfa McLaren Automotive Mikea Flewitta na letošním ženevském autosalonu, že představení novinky se uskuteční ještě v tomto roce. Jako první ho uvidí právě budoucí majitelé.

Ti ostatně mohou mluvit o štěstí, protože veškerá plánovaná produkce byla kompletně prodána již v listopadu 2016.

Trojmístný vůz se sedadlem řidiče uprostřed bude poháněn hybridním, benzinovo-elektrickým pohonem. Výrobou bude pověřeno oddělení McLaren Special Operations, které každý exemplář upraví dle individuálních požadavků zákazníka.
