Výlet z říše snů

Italská automobilka Lamborghini letos pořádá event, zvaný Lamborghini Avventura. Ten si klade za cíl, objevit ty nejúžasnější místa a silnice na planetě. Na své pouti již navštívil místa jako Andalusii, Transylvánii, Norsko, a nyní zamířila značka na Island.

Továrna na sny chce ukázat univerzální využití svého SSUV Urus. Krajina Islandu byla zvolena jako ideální příležitost, jak jej podrobit zkoušce výdrže, použitelnosti v terénu a dynamiky. Sedm vozů, každý jiné barvy, najelo během dvou dnů po ostrově devět set kilometrů. Po cestě je čekala spousta extrémních zkoušek. Silný vítr, déšť a sníh, to nejsou úplně podmínky, ve kterých se majitelé projíždí v lamborghini, a právě to má Urus změnit. 

Výprava začala na jižním poloostrově Reykjanes, u slavné geotermální oblasti Blue Lagoon. Od laguny pokračoval konvoj po jižním pobřeží, přes útesy Krysuvikurberg, pláže s černým pískem Reynisfjara až k mysu Dyrhólaey. Terénní schopnosti v režimu Terra využili řidiči pod skalami Hjörleifshöfði, nebo při sjíždění až k mořské hladině u ledových skal Kötlujökull. 

Cesta pokračovala přes lávové pole v oblasti sopky Laki, na jižním konci ledovce Vatnajökull. Nakonec konvoj zamířil do hlavního města Reykjaviku, které se vyznačuje tím, že je nejseverněji položenou metropolí světa.

Celý Island se otřásl běsněním motorů V8 a všem připomněl, že Lamborghini neumí stavět pouze sportovní vozy.
