Na výběr budou dva motory

Začátkem tohoto týdne se v závodě v bavorském Dingolfingu rozeběhla sériová výroba nového BMW řady 8 Coupé. Do rozjezdu produkce byla investována částka několika stovek milionů eur.

Při zhotovování karoserie přichází ke slovu lehká konstrukce z oceli, plastů, hliníku a uhlíkových vláken. Kromě výztuh v přední a zadní části vozu našlo aluminium uplatnění rovněž například ve střeše, dveřích, kapotě a přepážce mezi motorovým prostorem a kabinou. Vůbec poprvé je u sériového modelu značky BMW k dispozici střecha z plastů vyztužených uhlíkovými vlákny CFRP.

 

Při konstrukci vozu se velkém množství použil hliník

 

Souběžně se v Dingolfingu zrychluje také digitalizace logistiky a výrobních procesů. Například při montáži dveří jsou díly na linku dodávány autonomními vlaky. Na jejím konci spolupracující roboti prověřují spáry a správné usazení dílů.

Továrna stále více používá speciální pracovní oděvy se zabudovanými mobilními počítačovými technologiemi. Kromě inteligentních rukavic ProGlove se skenerem jde kupříkladu o takzvaný exotický alarm, který vibracemi chytrých hodinek zaměstnance informuje, že se blíží automobil s nadstandardní výbavou, který vyžaduje zvláštní pozornost. Při školení pracovníků byly využity brýle pro virtuální realitu.

V době uvedení BMW řady 8 Coupé na trh v listopadu 2018 budou na výběr dva motory. Vidlicový osmiválec pro BMW M850i xDrive Coupé (kombinovaná spotřeba paliva: 10,5–10,0 l/100 km; kombinované emise CO2: 240–228 g/km) nabídne maximální výkon 530 k a točivý moment 750 Nm. BMW 840d xDrive Coupé spoléhá na vznětový agregát (kombinovaná spotřeba paliva: 6,2–5,9 l/100 km; kombinované emise CO2: 164–154 g/km). Řadový třílitrový šestiválec generuje nejvýše 320 k a točivý moment 680 Nm.
