Lexus budoucnosti bude kavárničkou s krbem

Do stavby aut už zasahuje i obor neurobiologie. Vozy se budou přizpůsobovat náladě řidiče. Na těchto projektech pracuje americká pobočka automobilky Lexus ve spolupráci s TED Fellows, programem sdružujícím specialisty nejrůznějších zaměření.

Autory konkrétních návrhů jsou neurobiolog a vynálezce Greg Gage a designérka Sarah Sandmanová.

„Ústředním bodem konstrukce vozů Lexus bylo odjakživa soustředění se na to, co si přejeme, když sedíme za volantem. Přesto nám spolupráce s TED umožnila objevit zcela nové ideje, v jejichž centru se nachází člověk,“ uvedla marketingová šéfka amerického Lexusu Lisa Materazzová. 

Experimentální Lexus, určený pro autonomní jízdu

Greg Gage se domnívá, že automatizovaná vozidla během dlouhých cest vytvářejí vhodné prostředí pro neurotechnologii. Doporučuje vytvořit propojení mezi mozkem uživatele a automobilem. Díky němu by ten mohl reagovat na pocity a potřeby pasažéra. Stačilo by zaznamenávat změnu mimiky nebo srdeční rytmus. Fungovalo by to podobně, jako když se monitorují teplota, otáčky motoru či tlak oleje.

Například v reakci na projevy ospalosti by auto změnilo pozici sedadla a upravilo osvětlení. Obraz uvolněného šoféra by se stal pro digitálního asistenta výzvou k tomu, aby do reproduktorů audiosystému pustil směs poklidných skladeb. Ve stresující situaci, která vyžaduje maximální soustředění, by pak ztišil rádio a zapnul světla pro dobrou viditelnost.

Sarah Sandmanová zase mluví o podobě vozu, která umožní kontakt s vnějším světem díky otočným sedadlům a oknům rozprostírajícím se po jeho celém obvodu. Vnitřek je zařízený jako kavárnička s digitálním krbem, polštáři a spoustou rostlin. Podle umělkyně se zde dají hrát deskové hry nebo posnídat.
