Do finále se dostalo jediné SUV

Anketa Evropské auto roku 2019, známá spíše jako COTY 2019, zná své finalisty. Seznam nominovaných byl opravdu dlouhý a zahrnoval vozy ze všech segmentů modelových nabídek. Pokud čekáte, že se sedmička finalistů skládá převážně z oblíbených SUV, jste na omylu. Do posledního kola se dostali i sportovní vůz nebo elektromobil.

Největším překvapením je asi sportovní vůz Alpine A110, který vznikl reinkarnací slavné francouzské značky. Dále je ve finále dvojice hatchbacků Ford Focus a Kia Ceed. Střední třídu zastupuje krásný sedan Peugeot 508. Jediným SUV je Citroën C5 Aircross. Tomu by mohl šlapat na paty crossover, a zároveň jediný elektromobil, Jaguar I-Pace. Sedmý a poslední finalista pochází z Německa. Mercedes-Benz se bude ucházet s Třídou A.

Volvo tak svůj loňský titul neobhájí. Jak to celé dopadne se dozvíme první den ženevského autosalonu, který začíná 4. března 2019. O vítězi rozhodne porota složená z 59 novinářů.
