Ocenění jeho bezpečnostních parametrů

Konsorcium Euro NCAP, tvořené evropskými ministerstvy dopravy, autokluby, sdruženími pojišťoven a výzkumnými instituty, otestovalo bezpečnost 19 lehkých užitkových vozů. Nejlepších výsledků dosáhl Volkswagen Transporter T6.1, který obdržel zlatou medaili.

„Transporter nabízí zákazníkům široký výběr výkonných bezpečnostních systémů. Stanovuje tak měřítka pro ostatní,“ praví se v oficiálním zdůvodnění verdiktu.

Modelová řada T6.1 je vybavena mimo jiné asistentem pro jízdu v příslušném pruhu Lane Assist, asistentem pro detekci překážek Front Assist s funkcí nouzového brzdění City nebo adaptivním tempomatem ACC s automatickým udržováním vzdálenosti od vozidla vpředu a s omezovačem rychlosti.
