Mezistupněm bude plug-in hybrid Tonale

Koncern Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) se k elektromobilitě dosud stavěl poněkud vlažně. Zatím jen Chrysler nabízí hybridní minivan Pacifica a Fiat 500e se má napřesrok vrátit na americký trh.

Nyní britský časopis Autocar přišel se zprávou, že sportovní značka FCA Alfa Romeo chystá pro rok 2022 plně elektrické SUV. Je označováno jako subkompakt a velikostně má zhruba odpovídat BMW X1.

Ještě dříve se ovšem představí Alfa Romeo Tonale, SUV s plug-in hybridním pohonem. Ve formě studie debutovala na loňském autosalonu v Ženevě. Vzniká na platformě FCA, kterou sdílí s Jeepy Compass a Renegade. Dojezd čistě na elektřinu má činit přibližně 30 kilometrů.

FCA už předtím anoncoval, že ve svém komplexu v Mirafiori hodlá vybudovat továrnu na montáž akumulátorů.
