Sezonním pneumatikám se ale nevyrovnají

Pneumatiky pro osobní automobily můžeme řadit do tří kategorií – vedle klasických letních a zimních plášťů existují také celoroční. Ty jsou ideální volbou pro motoristy, kteří najedou kolem pěti tisíc kilometrů ročně, nepohybují se v horských regionech nebo mají více než jeden vůz.

Navíc tyto výrobky splňují veškeré legislativní požadavky na provoz v každém období. To znamená, že mohou být používány i mezi 1. listopadem a 31. březnem, pokud se na silnicích vyskytuje souvislá vrstva sněhu, led nebo námraza, případně lze vzhledem k povětrnostním podmínkám předpokládat, že taková situace nastane. Stejně tak je možno je bez obav použít v úsecích, opatřených příkazovou dopravní značkou Zimní výbava.

Mezi hlavní výhody celosezonních pneumatik bezesporu patří finanční i časová úspora. Není nutno kupovat druhou sadu ráfků a senzorů TPMS. Odpadají náklady na přezouvání a problémy s uskladněním. Záporem naopak je potřeba dodržet minimální hloubku dezénu čtyři milimetry v zimní periodě.

I když současné „univerzálky“ poskytují dobré jízdní vlastnosti na různých površích, uživatelé musejí počítat s tím, že mají své limity a nedosahují výkonů letních a zimních pneumatik.
