Bezpečnostní systém pro všechny

Automobilka Lexus nedávno představila zbrusu novou podobu modelu ES, již sedmou generaci oblíbené luxusní limuzíny. Nyní se může pochlubit maximálním hodnocením v bezpečnostních crash testech Euro NCAP. ES získal i přes zpřísněné podmínky pět hvězdiček z pěti, s celkovým skóre 86,25.

Vděčí za to technologii Lexus Safety System+, která vozu propůjčuje pokročilé prvky pasivní bezpečnosti. Vůz stojí na podvozkové platformě GA-K (Global Architecture-K) a nabízí již ve standardu deset airbagů.

 

Mezi unikátní vlastnosti bezpečnostního paketu se řadí i rozpoznávání cyklistů za denního světla nebo chodců po setmění, které v krizové situaci chrání předkolizním brzděním. Za zmínku určitě stojí i dynamický tempomat řízený radarem a spojený s asistentem pro hlídání jízdní stopy Lexus Co-Drive. S pomocí těchto systémů se model řadí do druhé úrovně autonomního řízení.

Paket Lexus Safety System+ je nově k dispozici pro 99 % všech prodávaných lexusů v Evropě. Lexus tuto výbavu pro většinu svých uvolňuje pro většinu svých modelů, protože si to nejlepší nechce syslit jen pro vrcholová provedení. Z toho by si některé automobilky měly vzít příklad.

Lexus LS se nyní nabízí v limitované edici First Edition a v základní výbavě Elegance Plus za 999 000 Kč.
