Vrcholná verze prémiového kompaktního Sports Activity Coupé

BMW představilo nejvýše postavenou verzi modelové řady X2. Za X2 M35i stojí zkušenosti a znalosti ze světa závodních vozů divize BMW M, která se podílela na vývoji jednotlivých komponent.

BMW X2 M35i

Vzhled vozu byl zvýrazněn pomocí prvků M Performance. Přední část zaujme LED světlomety doplněnými mlhovými světlomety.

Nové BMW X2 M35i pohání přeplňovaný zážehový motor 2,0 l TwinPower Turbo - vůbec první čtyřválec M Performance. Současně je také nejvýkonnějším čtyřválcem BMW vůbec. Má výkon 225 kW (306 k) a maximum točivého momentu činí 450 N.m.

Aby bylo možné daný potenciál odpovídajícím způsobem využít, je BMW X2 M35i standardně vybaveno inteligentním pohonem všech kol BMW xDrive a osmistupňovou automatickou převodovkou Steptronic s funkcí Launch Control se specifickým naladěním.

Vůz je vybaven výkonnější brzdovou soustavou a sportovním řízením se speciálním naladěním. Součástí standardní výbavy je sportovní podvozek s tvrdšími pružinami, tužšími tlumiči a sníženou světlou výškou. Přepracována byla rovněž zadní náprava. Volitelně je k dispozici adaptivní podvozek s možností volby jednoho ze dvou režimů. Technickou zajímavostí, která má v tomto automobilu premiéru, je M sportovní diferenciál přední nápravy, účinný zejména při velmi dynamickém stylu jízdy, který zvýšenou svorností dokáže eliminovat případnou ztrátu trakce předních kol.

Nové BMW X2 M35i z 0 do 100 km/h zrychlí za 4,9 s. Kombinovaná spotřeba je 8,1 - 8,4 l/100 km.

Zahájení výroby BMW X2 M35i je plánováno na listopad 2018 a uvedení na evropské trhy na březen 2019.
